Heater Hoses

I broke my heater control valve this summer. I just bypassed it and went on my way. Now that it is getting cold again, I'm trying to reconnect everything. I can't remember how the hoses are routed. I have an 89 XJ, any help would be greatly appreciated.

I've converted so many to the open system I've somewhat forgotten the closed system routing. This is a photo courtesy of 5-90 it should show the majority of what you're looking for...



I believe the one that comes out of the thermostat housing goes to the bottom heater core bung and the top heater core bung goes to the water pump return.

Yeah that's the open system though, he's dealing with the closed still.

No idea then.
