is 195XXX mile bad on a 98? its only $2988 but i do have a spare 87 motor (from one i flipped) just incase something does happen:huh: ,

people say the 4.0 can run forever if you take care of it. so if the person has been takin good care of the jeep then i would say go for it.

the 87 motor won't be a direct swap...it's a renix era 4.0 and the one in the 98 is a high output.
195xxx miles on something that's not yet 10 years old makes me think it's all highway. if it runs well, you've got nothing to worry about. if it knocks, it'll still last awhile.
and that price isn't too bad, so long as there's no rust and few dents/scrapes/fades

I would see if you could go down on the price a bit, that's not too bad for mileage. I would go for it.
