differnt axle ratios

just finished doing an axle swap in the front and it has a different ratio than the rear. front 3.17 / rear 3.55. the front drive shaft is NOT hooked up. the big ???? would it hurt to drive on it (in and out of drive way/ to a shop) till the gears come in?:helpme:

Leave the front driveshaft out and you will be ok.
