Tire Size Calculator

Hadn't seen that before. Kind of fun to enter in my tire history and see how progressivly off my speedometer has gotten and apparently how dangerous my braking situation is. Fun find. Thanks

Warning! When changing tire sizes, we recommend staying within 3% of the diameter of the original tire. Any more than this and you face the risk of brake failure.

Cute.

Cool calculator though.

Edit: There is something off - 60 mi/h != 100 km/h

its not saying 60mph = 100km/h

its giving you an example for the tire comparison, 60mph AND 100kmh

Ahh, gotcha.

Theoretically the tire calculators are a good idea....in the real world, even though the tires are "supposed" to match the theoretical size associated with
their assigned markings, the actual size can vary widely from tire to tire...best to woop out the old tape measure and check for yourself.

been using that for years, great tool.
