whats with the black ball?

can someone please tell me what the black ball between my 2 visors are, i took the caseing off and there is a few wires going to it, wtf? is it for the abs? maybe for keyless entry (although my truck dosn't have it), goverment tracking device :eyes: ? thanks, Matt

Speaking of this magic ball, how can i get my horn to honk after i hit the door lock button? The keyless entry works but the horn doesn't with it.
