blown head gasket on 88 mj

I pulled the head of a 4.0 in an hour and a half - easy as pie. The only remotely difficult part is removing the lower bolts of the "combination manifold" and the AC pulley bracket. FYI, JCwhitney sells the gasket set (head gasket, exhaust gasket, etc.) The annoying thing is that it doesn't include a valve cover gasket. However, that's available for dirt cheap at RockAuto. Joe.

Remember that the head bolts in these jeeps can be reused ONCE and ONCE ONLY. If it's had a top end rebuild before, get new bolts. Joe.
