Cooling my air compressor

Have a Viair 400C compressor and it works fine but gets blazing hot, around the third tire it will easliy burn and slows down considerably. With my old compressor I was able to cool it off a bit my placing a water soaked rag over the heatsink. It definatly helped keep the temps down and the air flow didn't slow as much. So I've been trying to figure out some sort of cooling deal for my new compressor. Thinking about using a computer heatsink and fans, any better ideas?

My 400C gets hot too which is normal but I don't notice it affecting its output at all. If it does it is marginal. I regularly air back up my 35s with no problems.

Where do you have it mounted? If it is in a closed off area or even worse, a hot engine bay, it will be hotter.
