Hello Jeepers. I have 3 Xj's a 5 speed 92, auto 95, and an auto 99. All stock for now. what We realized when we bought the 99 it wouldn't accept 235 R15's without rubbing on the back wheels (under a load or with trailer) the bottoms of the differentials are atleast 2 inches lower than my older bitches...did they change something with the wheel wells or suspension? thanks. Josh Keep On Jeepin On.

the diffs wont lower with the suspension. they are only effected by tire size [ok and pinion angle...].

2 inches is a lot though, thats 4 inches in overall tire-dimension... im stumped.

Budget Boost her -> throw bigger tires on her.

Your 99 may have been owned by a brick hauler too, my 98 has had LT235's on it for the last 380,000mi.

if the ass end is already sagging, a budget boost will just make it worse....

get yourself some OME springs....
