Lower Rad Hose

Does anyone know where to buy the lower radiator hose replacement with the spring in it. Mine was toast and I can't find a new one anywhere. Even the dealer said it was discontinued and not available through Jeep. AutoZone, Kragan, NAPA, Reibes all draw a blank. A link would be appreciated.

I get mine at O'reilly auto parts they have a website. It's the cheaper one they carry.

I bought the flex one for mine.. had the spring inside it.

NAPA has the springs separately. Ask them to call the heating and cooling rep for a part #.

I was suspecting that the lower hose was collapsing at High RPM in a post a few days ago.

I have since checked and it does not appear to be the case. While the engine is cold and running at a high RPM does not appear to be collapsing the hose. I am going to check again today with a warm engine.

The spring may be a hold over from a time when the hoses were not built as well as they are today.

If you do find one please post up.

IIRC, a lot of the current hoses will have the spring molded into the hose itself. This will work fine, and it keeps the metal of the spring from corroding.
