alright i did a brief search but couldn't find what i was looking for...

I'm replacing my engine and tranny and i have everything disconnected. The only thing stopping me from taking them out is the transmission and TC linkage. Where is the best place to disconnect the linkage? there's a bracket attatched to the body with 3 bolts that is holding the linkage, but the bolts are frozen. Is there a better way? should i just remove the center console and disconnect the linkage at the shifters or is there an easier way? any help would be appreciated...

Well that's certainly a difficult way to go about it...

Look closely at the linkage; the long rods bend at the end, and plug into a rubber grommet in the next piece. Pry that out carefully and voila you're done.
