I know there's been talk before about plastic mechanical fans not being strong enough, yadda yadda yadda.....for the XJ.
Well I just took a look at a Friend's GMC Jimmy and I noticed it has a plastic mechanical fan.
I realize the radiator in the Jimmy is taller so therefore the fan can be bigger.....
But regardless, why wouldn't a plastic fan work in the XJ if it were just as strong but the correct size for our radiators?
I'm guessing somebody somewhere out there has to make a plastic fan for our XJ's.
