A'right everyone, i'm lookin for some idea's on how to build my own air intake. I want to build something that draws air from the passenger side of the engine away from the hot exhaust.

Im not sure about on cherokees, but i know with TJ's ive heard of ppl getting civic intakes or universal intakes from like advance and cutting if needed. I saw a kit that had different sized couplers for however wide your TB was.

Here's what I did. Maybe you could mod for route to pass. side.
Alum. tube from scrap yard for about $5.
B.O.M.
K&N RC-4690 Filter
3" OD Tube, 1/8" - 3/16" wall (Aluminum or Stainless)
Rocky Mtn Recycle Commerce City 288-6868
Grommet & Emission Fitting (elbow) for PCV Valve
(Advance Auto Parts, Auto Zone...)
Modified Airbox - cut large holes, saving vertical, structural sections
Large Hose Clamp (2)

Made mine from some 3" exhaust pipe and a 1/2 heater hose fitting. Works pretty well , but I need to make a heat shield.
