AHHHH!!!! Which way?

:flamemad: I dont have a chilton or a haynes.
In the middle of rear pad change and cylider.
Anyone know of good write ups with pics?
One little thing is stopping me from completing.
At the very top of the drum were the springs meet, there is an ebrake cable that goes there and right behind it is this were clip thing that looks like a triangle. Im trying to find out which way it points with the arms, up or down.

I think your talking about the anchor pin plate. The arms should be at the top.

One of the first rules I learned as a young shade tree mechanic: when working on something like this do one side at a time, so you have the other as a reference!

I did do one side at a time but forgot to put it back in. So when i went to the other side i went "hmmm", "i dont remember this", "Oh shit which way does it go?"
Lol!
But soon, i will be able to rid myself of these poop drum brakes and have disc brakes. I just need one more backing plate and soft line. yay.
