I am getting ready to order a 4.5 rough country lift and it askes what rear axle I have. It says it is either a Dana 35 or a Chrysler 8 1/4. Is there a way to tell one from the other?

look close it will actually say it but if you stand back and look the bottom will look square then it's a 8.25

The Chrysler 8.25 has a little chrysler symbol cast into the housing on the front support web.
