Front Driveshaft

Should there be a cap on the end of it right here?


It seems dumb to have the end of it exposed like this. I'm rebuilding it to use it as a rear shaft when I get my SYE installed tomorrow, and I've always noticed that grease would squeeze out the middle of it, but I never cleaned it and saw the blue color and all the splines until today.

If there should be a cap, where can I get one?

Ok. It's missing the cap.

Where on earth can I get one?

Try to find another driveshaft or yoke to get the cap from. Or you can go to a local driveshaft place and see if they have parts.

The part number for the slip yoke is 2-3-8841KX
