Stock Alternator Pulley Size...

Hi,

I need to put a smaller Alternator Pulley on my '88 XJ Reman 4.0L.

Does anyone know what size and number of grooves the Stock Alternator Pulley is?

I believe the Stock Alternator is a DELCO CS-130. However, my Alternator is a HIGH OUTPUT 170 Amp Aftermarket model. It only uses the Stock Pulley but it is not producing enough Amps at Idle hence the need for an Overdrive or Smaller Pulley.

Once I know the size of the stock pulley I can order one size down for my application.

Thx.

I used the pulley from a Chev. (88) K1500, 5.7 Ltr. auto, with trailer package. Know it works and there is still enough adjustment left for the stock belt on the XJ.
