'00 XJ Electrical Parts Ques

So my flasher module was shot and I figured rather than go out and spent 20 from Checkers or 40 from the dealer I would check the yards and see what they had. Unfortunatley none of the yards had any 97+ best I could do was pull the flasher module of a 96. The question is they are identical in appearance but the part numbers are different.

The one that was in MY XJ (the fried one) is 56021551
The one that was out of the 96 in the yard is 56007348

The only difference I can see between them is the part number and the one out of my XJ says 3(6) x3220P-12v where as the one out of the 96 says 2(4) x32CP-12V.

Would it be ok to put the flasher from the 96 in or am I going to fry something?

I figured what the hell, the part was free so why not try it. Turns out it works, no problems what so ever, much better than spending 20 at checkers or 40 at the dealer.
