What front end in a 94 grand and will...

My buddy blew the front end in his 94 grand cherokee with the v8 and he wants to know if he can pull the fron out of an 89 xj and make it fit anyone know. also sumone tole me the 89 has somthin weird with the fron on the 89 whats up with that forgot what he called it

Is he willing to regear it at least? I really doubt they'd have the same ratio.

The "weird" front axle he's referring to is most likely the CAD or vacumm disconnect system. Look for a "non disconnect" axle assembly to start with.

The ZJ most likely has a 3:73 axle ratio with the V8. Might also have ABS and CV axleshafts.

Any pre 90 axle will necessitate the knuckle/brake/bearing assembly from the ZJ being swapped over.

We need a little more info of what he has to tell you exactly what needs to be done.
