did the rear boards over spring break and wanted to show them off:
never mind the red paint, it was free. i just used 18 gauge sheet metal, then cut it to size using cardboard and then welding it in place. then i went in and sealed everything up with paintable silicone and undercoated the fool out of it.
d44 out of a wagoneer i found down the road. everything appears to be pretty solid but it will need gears (of course) u joints, brakes, all that jazz.
