Size of drain plug bolt on NP231? Stupid question i know....

95 4.0L NP231

I know this might be a stupid question and theres probably a simple answer but what is the size of the drain plug on the 231? It seems to me like its somewhere around 28-29mm, but noone and i mean noone sells this size socket. Its like a really obscure size. Im trying to change out the fluid and the drain/fill bolts are all seized up.

Tried using an adjustable and it just rounds it. I also tried using standard sizes, but none of em fit snug. Am i missing something? Any ideas?

I believe it is 30mm. Mine came off with an adjustable but I think I remember reading it in the service manual.

I had to go buy a 1 3/16 for mine at sears and it fit snug.
