IM LOOKING FOR A HP30 AND A 29 SPLINE 8.25 WITH 4.10'S AND WAS TOLD THAT THESE ARE STOCK AXLES IN A 97-99 XJ WITH A 4 CYLINDER. IS THIS TRUE AND DO THEY COME IN ABS? THANKS

Only dodge vehicles had ABS on the 8.25's, never on jeeps though, that was on the D35's
I thought the 97+ had a LP30
correct me if i'm wrong.

2000+ had LP30's
late 96's+, non-ABS had 8.25, 29 spline

Im guessing with the 4.10 ratio, It only came with a D35 since it was a 4 banger and that is the weaker axle. I might be wrong though, and the D30 is HP they started low pinion in 2000
