What is the suggested route to go on this, as in materials and lengths, adjustments and heims? Is the tranny crossmember the best location for them? I can fab reasonably well, bumpers and leaf spring stuff is easy, should I be able to make links?

I'm up about 4" on my '86 2.5L MJ. Didn't think I was gonna need em, but my stock LCAs are hitting the mount! Is this safe to drive on the road for a couple weeks?

Sorry if this is beat to death.

Not sure about your first questions, but You'll be fine to drive, it'll just be a rough ride. If your really worried you can trim a bit off the shock mount where its hitting as a quick fix.

It'll be safe? Thought it could damage the mount, or not allow any down travel for potholes.

Well I personally havent done it but I know theres people on here who have. I couldnt afford to buy new LCA's but mine were hitting so I did this...
http://www.naxja.org/forum/showthread.php?t=90158&highlight=homemad+lca%27s it's a little more work than cutting the mount but like you I wasnt sure if it would hurt the mount or not when I did that.

Might do that, but would prefer something a lil nicer, as in more on the proper side of things.
Thank you for the link though.
