ok so here i am getting all set to start buying my gears
4.88's!!

anyways i was looking on yukon gear site

and i can buy 4.88 that will fit the stock case in my d44 and d30

is this true??


also where is a cheap place online to buy gears

While you may be able to purchase "thick" gears for the D44(may require drilling the carrier),I have never seen them for the D30.

I have thick 4.88's in my D44. You do not need to get a different carrier, your stock carrier will work.

The D30 does not have thick gears.


Thick gears have more material so that you can use them with a stock carrier.
