ok so here i am getting all set to start buying my gears
4.88's!!

anyways i was looking on yukon gear site

and i can buy 4.88 that will fit the stock case in my d44 and d30

is this true??


also where is a cheap place online to buy gears

While you may be able to purchase "thick" gears for the D44(may require drilling the carrier),I have never seen them for the D30.

what do u mean by thick gears

i ask cause if i can save $100 dollars and use my exsting cases im want to

I have thick 4.88's in my D44. You do not need to get a different carrier, your stock carrier will work.

The D30 does not have thick gears.


Thick gears have more material so that you can use them with a stock carrier.

ok great i guess thats all i needed to know

so i can just order the thick gears for the d44 stock carrier 4.88 flavor

and for the front d30 i have to get the new carrier

sounds right

thanks for helping me save some cash

(do yall know online where is the cheapest for gears??)
