My driver side leaf pack has this annoying little squeak every time I hit a small bump or a man hole cover. Is there anything I can do to remedy this, like cleaning them and greasing them of just spraying them down with some kind of lube. Oh yeah they are RE's 3 1/2 lift on factory shackels.

Thanks in advance.

Dissasemble the leafs and paint them with a brush on graphite paint availiable at tractor supply stores. Unless its just the bushing, which I doubt. They usually squeak like that when the leafs rub against eachother, this usually only happens when you hve been in mud or deep water and the factory lube (if you want to call it that) wears out.

Does the paint flake off after a while?
