I am in the middle of doing a "body swap" on my XJ. In moving over the D44 rear axle, I need to replace the rubber flex brake line from the body to the axle.
My question is.....Are the two brake hard lines from the wheels the same size on the D35 and D44? It has been several years since I swapped this axle and I can't remember. As I remember it, you can use a 95 Dodge Dakota brake line and gain several inches of length. Can anyone verify that? Or does anyone have a suitable replacement match from another vehicle that would handle 6"+ of lift?
