0331 recall

I've had my 01 for just about a year now, it has 64000 miles on it. I've found this forum about a week after my purchase and have loved all the information I've found and used here. I see there is another 0331 head cracked thread started recently. My only question is if this is a problem, why in the world didn't Jeep have a recall on these?? Or is it more isolated that I'm seeing? I check my coolant level almost daily due to the threads here. I am just disappointed that if this is such a serious problem, then why wasn't or isn't there a recall?? Anyone know why?
