Rocker Arm Bridge Question

I know some of you might think this pretty basic, but I'd rather not screw this up.

What is the proper orientation of the rocker arm bridge on a 4.0l? There are grooves in both the rocker and the bridge that can either overlap or cross. Hopefully you can see them in the following picture.

I've looked in the FSM and my Haynes amual, niether one offers a clue. I've also Googled for a while and haven't had any luck.

What say the masses. Overlap for proper lubrication or cross for proper lubrication?

As I recall when I pulled mine off last summer, they were oriented to match the same position on the rocker arm. I know that's how I put them back on.

I, like you, think that it must make a difference otherwise the grooves would've been straight and could be installed in either direction.

Then again, I might not make any difference. Who knows.....
