Hey guys ive been readin some news that pro-comp M/T's are not to good on the snowy road. What have u guys heard about this. I also heard that the M+S on these tires arent the mark to be lookin for, now its a snowflake for a true snow tire.

They are fine in snow, but ice is a whole other thing. the m/t's have little traction on ice. They lack the small groves that give tires trcation on ice.

Notice how these have them crossing the tire. But in snow they work great and are less prone to getting hard packed then a/t's

ok cool thanx for the info but Im planning on going on alot of trips to mammoth for snowboarding and also. Will they hold up to the icy roads ok or do u think ill be sliding all over the place? The signs up there say that no chains are required for 4 wheel drive plus snow tires. I have 33s u think ill be ok?
