are the head lights sealed beam units?.... or do they come apart, as i can see some rust on the reflectors........... 97 cherokee

Sealed, but how funny, I just noticed the same thing yesterday in one of mine. You can buy replacements that have removeable bulbs.

so if the bulb blows you have to replace the light!! i would have thought on a 97 you could change the bulbs anyway.... that sucks!

id rather by the sealed beams they are just as expensive as just bulbs. :)

Yep, the whole light needs to be replaced when it dies.If you do a conversion to Hella Vision Plus, IPF or a similar housing setup then you can just replace the bulb.Do a search fo headlight conversions- there should be a ton of info on here.
