Anyone know of a place that sells the plastic strip that moves along with the shifter handle ?
Thought I would ask before I try to make one ........

Just hit up the junkyard. You won't even need tools to get it out - just pull off the shifter handle, then pop out the shifter surround.

damn, I threw a spare shifter bezel out a few days ago, If I still had it I would have sent it you for for free.

Only problem with bone yards around here is they crush anything more than about 8 years old.
If I can't find anyone with a nice spare I will try to make the sliding plastic sheet myself, and then probably just end up buying a new one ..... :confused1

replace it with a newer one. I got one from a 95-96 I think and it fits fine.
