MasterPull Synthetic Winchline. This is the strongest stuff out there.There XD Superline is approx. 34% stronger than Amsteel blue. 5/16" steel cable has a 9800# tensile strength. Amsteel Blue is 12330, MP Superline is 16500#. Even their standard Winchline is 14500# TS.

My suggestion is for the 9000# winch with 50' of 5/16" superline XD and a 50' extension. That way you can keep only 50 on the drum to handle most of the short pulls that we allways do. then if you need to grab the extension for a longer pull.
