I really like how AEV's rear bumper uses the stock end caps:

Does anyone else make a rear bumper that uses the same strategy? I do not want a rear tire carrier, just a heavier duty bumper.

Um.. Although i would say that the tomken one does fit within the "MO" of the AEV bumper.. I would stay away from a rear bumper that hangs the tire that low.. it will kill your departure angle.. If you dont wheel it then go for it, or uh moderate trails maybe...

Consider the rigidco rear swing out its nice... eighter way say goodbye to your rear view...
I did.. I have a prototype of the Poison Spyder Customs rear swing out on my XJ..
Its up high reasonable departure.. no back window... now i am just ramblin..

Personally i like the C-Rok bumper and carrier. Lose the view out the back but great angle.
