what years interchangeable in fuel pumps

Pretty sure that 97 and up are different. Does that mean that up to 96, all were the same?

I dont think so - somewhere in mid-96 the change happened...in my 96 i have the fuel pump that can be accessed without dropping the tank - ive heard later in the year 96's have the more difficult above tank pump....

Well are all early to mid 90's pumps the same?
Does anybody know a cheap source for a bosch unit? I gotta have a reliable and quiet pump.

im pretty sure 95 and 95 are in there own catagory. Just do research and look up part numbers...... see if they are same. i just put a OE complete assembly in my 96 from napa.

95 should be the same as the 87-up. The tank is certainly the same, and the whole unit looks the same, with the same pressure requirement. I have put an 89 pump in a 93, and it was just fine.
