Just put a tach in the XJ and I think it might be off. Idle is right about 500 RPM's, the idiot light comes on at about 1,500 RPM's and cruisin on the highway in 5th gear at 65 the tach sits right at or slightly above 2K RPM's. I am unsure of the gearing but this Jeep is a 1990 XJ, 4.0 AX-15. On a buddy's TJ the idiot light comes on right at 2200 RPM's, is that about right for my XJ or is what I'm seeing on the tach correct?
