99 ABS brakes?

hello, new 99' w/ 173k, 4.5" lift & 32" toyo. bought w/165k stock, all work done by myself. I hate the ABS offroad, the truck doesnt want to stop when ABS kicks in(sandy soil). No problems on the black crap(asphalt). Any sugestions would be appreciated. Totaly remove or switch on/off? Thanks

unplug the pump under the hood or pull the relay.

just unplug the plug from motor on pump. could you put a switch on the power or ground wire to cut juice when needed.
