I have a 89 xj with a 4.0l ,with a 4" suspension lift. When in 2wd going around sharp rh corners my front driveshaft hits the exhaust makes a terrible noise. If I go underneath the truck there is almost 2 1/4 inchesd of clearance. I doens't do it all all in 4wd offroad. All my exhaust hangars are fine. I bought the truck stock and put a motor, lift in in before I ever drove it,so I don'y know what caused this.! Thanks!

Busted motor mounts can allow your engine to move enough to allow contact between the exhaust down pipe and the front drive shaft.
