Cutting fenders before I get the flares?

I have a set of Bushwackers on order only they are not hear yet. I had planned to have my fenders trimmed tomorrow. Is it a good idea to trim the fenders now before I have the bushwackers in my hands?

Or would it be OK to cut the fender and then mount the flare later?

How much should I cut? RE6300LA 5.5" lift running 33" Trxus MTs, 35s in the future, but a long time away.

You'll be just fine running cut fenders and no flares as long as it's legal in your state to do so. However, you may want to wait to trim until you have the Bushwackers so that you'll trim the right amount. Needing to trim more wouldn't be so bad, but trimming too far would suck.

you can download the instructions from bushwackers site if you want an eary start. that should give you a guideline(with measurements IIRC) to cut by.
