ok so if the tag on my diff cover says 41-10 that means it has 4.10 gears right? i thought only 4 cyls and jeeps with tow packages came with that. mine is an 86 with the 2.8 v6 and no tow package.

the 2.8's wernt all that so its possible you have 4.10's ive seen a few in the yards but never learned to read a tag
