trany shifts early after ''custom exhaust''

I busted the tail pipe, off my xj and now the trany is acting funney, shifting up and down way to early. I was wondering, if the exhaust being busted off at the mufler could be causeing this or is it somthing with tps or computer... thanks

any way, is there any chance the exhaust flowing better might, have caused this. Becuase, i think im gonna get a dynomax but i dont want it to mess up my trany ''its got like 180,000 miles on it'' thanks

The tranny cable doesn't affect shift point, just the internal hydraulic pressure which affects shift firmness.
