Hi
Ive got a 92 XJ, and Ive had it diagnosed with worn/damaged trac loc disks. Its the limited slip...
Now this all happens in Norway, so they said it would cost about $2000 to fix it. Right!!!
Ive alrady ordered the disks from 4wd.com, at $79, and I`ll do it myself. At least I`ll try!!
Have any of you done this?
Any tips or tricks, or is it a straight forward-job?
I appreciate any input on this

sorry to say i can't help with personal experience, but from guys i've talked with who've done it, it sounds pretty straightforward. you should have a factory service manual to help you along. $2000 is flat out crazy! i'd be swapping in a D44 for less than that. yikes!

Thank you guys.
That link was really helpful. Seems like I need a special tool, but otherwise it was pretty straight forward..
Do you know where I can get a factory manual? Tried Chrysler, but the oldest i found was 94 og 95.. need an 92..
