check engine code p1493... help?

I have not one idea why this code is coming up, anyone have an idea where to start?

P1493 (M) Ambient/Batt Temp Sensor Volts Too Low: External temperature sensor input below acceptable voltage.

check/clean the sensor/relay ... Replace if necessary

Low or no volts from the sensor tells me there's an opening in the wiring. I'd first clean the connector, and look for broken wires. As bowser says, probably a dirty connector.
