i searched, but failed anyway, i have seen it asked before, and answered before too, .... what is the distance between the fender flare, and center of the axle(rim) on a stock xj? front and rear, 98 sport 4L 4x4, i need to determine how high i am right now.

HOW MUCH LIFT DO I HAVE ?
Stock measurements for an XJ from center hub to fender flares are 17" front and rear. This is straight from Rustys web site.

i think its .5" less in rear than front.somebody confirm

i usually just gauge how hungry i am and whether or not i'm hearing music from the inside of my head to determine how high i am.
