91+ Airboxes

So right now I have a K&N cone filter on my XJ. I'm thinking about going back to an airbox, but I don't really want to add all that little emissions tubing back in since I've chopped up my vacuum tree and like the cleaner look of just two big hoses. If I get a 91+ airbox that doesn't have the little tubes at the back will it just drop into mine(I have to assume it will)? Also, does it have that motor/actuator thing at the front like the older ones did where the air comes in?

hmm, I dont know really.
but I do know my 94 airbox doesnt have any sort of motor or actuator thing.

I would think it would work, since whatever set-up you have of emissions vaccum works now as it is.
