D30 diff gets hot

i jsut regeared and sence im only runnig 30's rite now i put my 35 back in so i could use it as a DD but the front has 4.56's and after driving for like 30 mins the front diff was hot to the touch .....wondering what the hell is going on...thanks

Do you mean it was hot immediatly after the install?

When I had my done I was told it would be that way and not to drive real hard during the "break-in". My thought is that it is normal.

Should be fine. With long drives like 30 min each day you should see her temp drop soon, week or so. If say after 30 days of driveing like that she is still running hot take her back.
