My cherokee is 89' with manual transmission. I just had an sye installed on the 231 t-case and about to put the t-case back in tonight. RE 4.5 lift w/33's
Read some posts and saw a lot of info on the ford 8.8 rear, decided If I can find one ill put one in my jeep.
Now I was calling around town here and there is a 8.8 off a 2000 explorer for $200 with disc brakes.
Now would anything need to be done to have the 8.8 fit my 89' cherokee?
Is this fairly simple to install, I have never done it before?
Anything else I would need to know/consider about putting it in my 89 XJ?
Thanks
