Can you use the ZJ front driveshaft as the rear on a XJ with a H&T?

you make my head hurt! i know i have posted in multiple threads about hack and taps that i use a zj shaft. if its the right length then yes it will work. it was the longest one i could find when i was looking.

I saw thought I saw it somewhere, but when I seached I never found the right answer. Do you use the same spicer? U-Joints?

same joint, no clue what years, just go look and see if it looks right. i know some had a sealed rubber boot that you cant grease on em, my buddys 96 is that way.

Don't know what years but they were the same lengths as the XJ driveshafts. I didn't like the boot on the slip joint though. The XJ shafts we compared them to were from 4.0 auto NP231s.
