wobbling

My friend has a 2001 xj with a 3 inch RE lift and 31" tire. When he reaches between 50-55mph, he get a little bit of wobbling. It also did this before he lifted it. We are trying to figure out what it is? Can anyone help?

You might try having the wheels/tires balanced.

I had the same issue and that solved it.

Another option is to have the alignment checked as well.

Mine does this too. I've had it aligned, replaced most of the front suspension (for other reasons then this) and it still does it from 50-55 mph. It's very slight and not a big deal and I was told that Jeeps are known for this issue. Even Jp Magazine talks about it being a trade mark in XJ's....
