Here's some more info to consider while you're all voting. Someone will need to volunteer to be the show and shine chairman and lead this motley crew. :lol: We'll work together to decide on categories and judging criteria, then you all can pick which of you will be judges. Entry forms will need to be made with all the pertinent info about the rigs.
My ideas of categories would be "nicest rig" or something like that which would be an all around category including looks, well done modifications, quality of components, etc. "Best built" could be nicely done fab work, lot's of custom fabbing that's very well done, plenty of good parts, a very capable rig. "Best equipped" would be a combination of quality and quantity of modifications and equipment, plus parts and gear that are carried on the rig. There might be some inevitable bleed over between categories, but the goal would be to reward those very well done rigs. I'm thinking we could give maybe three awards in each category, maybe a "best of show", and some honorable mentions.
Once you vote to do this, if it passes, select a chairman, and we'll talk some more. There will need to be a few others who will form the organizing committee, and they will determine who the judges will be, and all of you who will be at the event can help set the thing up.
