Making a 242 an HD

I've searched and searched, but not found a definitive example of this. Has any successfully put a 241 or any other low range planetary in a 242J case. This is a 2000 WJ 242 case with the normal 3 pinion planetary. Everything I see points to the 241 having a 6 pinion planetary and the 242HD having a 4 pinion set.

I keep hearing that the 241 parts fit in the 242 case, but never a first hand account and 242HDs are tough to find around here.

Any help would be awesome.
