rear air deflector any good?

are the rear air deflector (for the rear window) and good...do they help to keep the rear window clear?

I don't have one personally but my dad has one on the back of his. He says it made a pretty big difference, and it looks pretty good too.

They do help keep water off the rear glass at highway speeds. Here's the one on my 87.
